I haven’t had a friend in 4 years but honestly I don’t feel terrible and I can interact with others I just have no one to interact with. I feel a crave for social interaction from my brain but I have no one to interact with,if I find someone I will open up to them. I’m just built different I guess.

I'm kinda lonely. I made friends in elementary/middle school and we had our fun, but we don't have the same interests anymore. I feel fake when I'm with them. I don't really know how to approach others with my interests though, because they're so wild and free and cool and loud. I still like my friends, but it just feels like I never contribute anything interesting to the conversation. The solution is to get out more, but when I do, loneliness strikes again and I slink back to my friends. When will I get a life

I find it so very funny when I was younger in grade school, I did a project based on the best plan moving forward for the US when it comes to climate change and etc... based on the group who presentation seemed most legitimate, we presented it to the county energy dept. I come up with this same conclusion about 7-8 years ago, and presented this idea to them. ITS WILD that this same idea of using Nuclear as a bridge to renewable world is something I thought of and presented to my team and than we presented to our energy dept. is now on Kurzgesagt. Oh also the energy dept had mixed feelings but overall they agreed with what the video said about the reality of the situation and nuclear being the best bridge.

Theory: There will be no heat death of the universe. One day, we will be able to harness the power of creation, and make a star from nothing. It's honestly not a theory of "is it possible?", it's a question of "will we do it?" Stars (put simply) only need matter, gravity, pressure, and heat. An advanced enough civilization may make stars using pieces of dying or dead stars, possibly even pulling matter from black holes.

UBI is perfect in harmonizing the biosphere. The only problem is in what ways would the people stay motivated? How can we be sure that our needs are met? Are there communal services & facilities that would make sure any expensive medical treatment, needs, and technology are given? What is the solid assurance that the ones on top and managing the resources won't go inverse or corrupt? And lastly, is the pandemic the perfect catalyst for such?

We are paranoid creatures, man. “Benefit of the doubt” would be good for all of us. I feel like we’re spending most time, energy and resources just checking on what other economically relevant countries are thinking or trying to accomplish. Ok, are the 9,200 downvotes/dislikes from people who benefit from inequality? Poverty is a natural “inevitability” sort of stuff? Just checking. I don’t have enough resources or control to make the changes this video argues.

i have a question regarding this.....in the 2nd case when midas touches the duck it turns to a gold duck through the process of rearrangement of protons, neutrons, electrons to form gold atoms...how can you be so sure that after turning into gold the duck will retain its structure...what i mean to say is if the rearrangement of protons, neutrons, electrons happen then its not necessary that the duck after turning into gold will still look like the duck when it was alive, the shape may not be retained, it may look like a cube made of gold or a rock made of gold or anything else made of gold but not necessarily a duck made of gold because the arrangement of atoms will change. i do get why there are gaps but even after the gaps it looks like a duck as per your video, although it is not necessary that it will still look like a duck after the rearrangement of protons, neutrons, electrons has happened. Same thing applies to earth as the earth may not retain the shape of earth after turning to gold as the arrangement of protons, neutrons, electrons changes and forms gold atoms it is not necessary that the earth will look like earth, it may look like a paraboloid made of gold or any other shape but not necessarily the same shape as before being turned into gold by midas. i think you guys might have gone wrong in this particular case. if not then pls explain why?

We take out a bunch of cells and we’re like, “these are here. A large part of every single human brain is composed of this kind of cell. What the HELL do they do?!!?”
